Belief #2: Interviewing is easy for most people

The Truth: This is a belief that can make job seekers who are struggling with the interview process feel a lot of shame about themselves. The truth is this is not easy for anyone. The job interview is one of the weirdest conversations you’ll ever have in your life and you are in no way a loser or somehow behind the crowd if you’ve been finding it difficult

Belief #3: My failure is my fault

The Truth: No one taught you how to do this. How can not knowing something you were never taught be your fault? What is in your control is where you go from here. It’s not your fault that you’re struggling with interviews, but it is your responsibility to do something about it.

You start your day already wired from a restless night of sleep and make a quick “Job interview today- wish me luck!” post on social media.
